Leaflets on home improvements, covering work carried out anywhere in Scotland can be found at the following two web sites.

• The Building Standards Division of the Built Environment of the Scottish Government. The leaflets are currently found under the heading "Publications Library" and section "General Guidance & FAQs". 
• The Scottish Association of Building Standards Managers, known as SABSM. The leaflets are currently found under the section "Guidance".
