Edinburgh in BloomEach year, Edinburgh participates in the regional Beautiful Scotland in Bloom Awards unless, following a successful campaign, we are chosen to represent Scotland in the Britain in Bloom Finals as is what happened in 2009 when we won the Silver-Gilt medal. We are delighted to report that Edinburgh is once again preparing for its entry into the Beautiful Scotland in Bloom 2010 competition which will see judges assess the city on horticultural achievements, environmental responsibility and community participation. Beautiful Scotland Campaign 2010 The Edinburgh in Bloom campaign along with the Royal Botanic Garden, horticultural suppliers, academic institutions, community groups, city landmarks and many others will be working to ensure that the city is at its best when the judges come to call.
