Who provides the service? either staff from the Council's Home Care Service (-usually home helps or social care workers) or Carers purchased on your behalf from a private or voluntary agency.
In addition, the Home Care Re-ablement Service can support you for up to 6 weeks to regain daily living skills and independence e.g after a stay in hospital. If you wish, you can choose to pay for any service, in which case you will not be asked for information about your finances.
