Edinburgh Tenement Image 11KB Edinburgh Stair Partnership (ESP) is a property management service to help private home owners organise common repairs and regular maintenance of their tenements.

ESP has been helping owners since August 2000 and currently has over 100 tenements with 1000 owners in membership.

ESP removes the hassle and worry from organising common repairs, and helps you maintain the condition and value of your property.

For a competitive annual fee ESP will provide a comprehensive service which includes:

The processing of applications, including a meeting with owners if requested; the issuing, collecting and processing of contracts; raising invoices and processing contractor invoices.
A surveyor's inspection of the building followed by a report. For initial inspections, the report includes budget estimates for repairs to defects identified.
A stair meeting with the surveyor and property manager to discuss the inspection report and provide advice to the owners on remedial action.

Administration Charges apply when repairs are carried out, these charges cover:

Surveyor services: preparation of tender documents, managing repairs on site, liaising with contractors, site inspections, updates to owners, snagging repairs, signing off jobs, issuing end of works reports, managing repairs accounts.
Financial administration: the Revenues & Benefits division issues invoices and collects payments from owners, makes payments to contractors, manages debt recovery. R&B charges other Council departments for their services.

Edinburgh Stair Partnership is part of the City of Edinburgh Council, Services for Communities, Homeowners Services, and has achieved Chartermark accreditation.
