Environmental education

Find out what the Council is doing to tackle the threat of climate change and learn about your ecological footprint, waste, energy, litter transport and Fairtrade issues amongst others.

We work with community groups, colleges and universities, voluntary organisations, special needs groups and the business community and act as Edinburgh co-ordinators for the international Eco-Schools programme.

Services that we provide include:

  • talks and presentations
  • interactive workshops
  • support materials and practical assistance
  • teacher CPD sessions
  • support for Eco-events and local area clean-ups.

These services are free to groups within the City of Edinburgh Council area.
