We have established standards of care for children and young people needing social work services, and our aim is for Edinburgh's children to be safe, healthy, nurtured, educated, active and respected. This means that for some young people and their families, they will need information, advice and support to deal with difficult situations at various stages in their lives. These situations include: family relationships, parental substance misuse, problems at school, illness or disability, child protection and offending. We are ready to take your call between 08:30 - 17:00 Monday to Thursday, 08:30 - 15:40 Friday. If you are a professionalIf you wish to request a new service or assessment for child or young person, you should go to Children & Families Social Care Direct and complete the Service Request Form.
